+1 swords are rubbish. That's the simple, unadulterated truth. Any fighter who swings a +1 sword is a clod; a buffoon; a crap-witted arse-head of the lowest calibre. Sorry, but it's the truth. Who in their right mind is going to call their sword '+5'? That's no worthy appellation for a finely crafted and enchanted battle-blade!
Version 2 notes: It's not often that I'll make a revision of an application less functional than its predecessor. Still, the d20 System has given way to its successor and this site now concentrates on material more useful to a wider variety of gamers. As such, I deemed the price and magical bonus calculations unnecessary. And anyway, like I said in the original introduction to this article: +5 thundering longswords are rubbish.
